Enjoy your day and plan on visiting one of our great Paradise eateries! (Saturday tour day opens at 10:00; Sunday tour day opens at noon.)

Place: San Mateo Arboretum Society, 101 Ninth Avenue, San Mateo
Brief description: Free. Alone or in combination with other plants, succulents make spectacular container arrangements and in your garden. They are the new water-wise darlings of the plant world. Linda Roark will talk about how to create beautiful living tapestries in containers. She will also discuss the different types of succulents, choosing containers, their location, and proper care for assembling a container garden to enhance your backyard.
