April 23  Annual Meeting/Elections             Program: Alya Tadel on the Ikebana school of Sogetsu Shoka Kai
Alya Tadel has been studying Ikebana for 13 years, beginning in Switzerland.  She has continued her practice of Ikebana at the Japanese Friendship Garden since 2011.  She participates in the Sogetsu bienniale with displays and demonstrations, as well as with demonstrations and exhibitions at the Japanese Friendship Garden.

Robin Rushmore, a local San Diegan, grows succulents on her property and turns them into magic!

David Root is a professional floral designer with over 23 years experience and numerous awards including first prize in the International Floral Design Competition at the Del Mar Fair. He has given demonstrations & classes for businesses and organizations including FTD, Teleflora, San Diego Home & Garden Magazine and many garden clubs throughout southern California.
