March 25:  Boots & Pearls Gardening and Fly-fishing Club Introduction to Fly-fishing for Guys and Gals
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm; Admission price: $10.00;  Harshbargers' Ace Hardware  1626 Hwy-99 Gridley, CA  95948. Introduction to fly-fishing for guys and gals, as another way to enjoy the great outdoors and re-affirm our commitment to conservation and family oriented activities.  We begin with introductions,
equipment used, and fly-casting basics at Harshbargers' Ace Hardware.  Then we will caravan to a nearby pond for on-the-water experience.

Enjoy your day outdoors while getting fresh ideas for your garden at the self-guided tour of unique and spectacular local gardens. At the Elks Lodge, "Grow 'Em and Show 'Em" is our theme at the Flower Show where you will see hundreds of prize winning plants, flowers, and crafts (starting at 1:00 Saturday), and pick up a special something at our free Garden Fair while you're there. April 22:  Santa Rosa Garden Club Annual Plant Sale
9:00 am - 2:00 pm; Admission price: $free; Luther Burbank Art & Garden Center, 2050 Yulupa, Santa
Rosa CA 95404.  Features plants grown by members, including some purchased as starts from a local wholesaler then transplanted and nurtured by members.  The sale includes drought tolerant and deer resistant plants including succulents, perennials, native plants, bird and butterfly plants, shrubs and
more!  A special collection of garden topiaries will be offered for sale.  Bring your knives and garden tools for sharpening. You’ll also find many garden related items at the "indoor garage sale".

April 22:  Southern California Garden Club,  "TV Diners," Standard Flower Show

91436-1101.  The club’s 51st annual standard flower show will feature floral designs, horticulture and educational exhibits.  Sales of plants, white elephants and baked goods are a fundraiser for the club.  All

Gardeners to answer your questions and the ever popular bake and plant sales. The Folsom Garden Club is a nonprofit organization, raising funds through this annual Garden Tour to support scholarships and grants educating area students and promoting beautification of the City of Folsom.  Over $82,000

April 30:  Lake Oroville Area Garden Club Spring Garden Tour
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm; Admission price: $20.00;  Starts at Hearthstone Charter School.  This is our first year to host a garden tour.  Five gardens are featured on the tour, and at the last location, a tea, two speakers and several raffle items will be available. Price of the ticket includes all of the above.  Money earned from the tour goes toward our annual Butte College Scholarship and for other club beautification projects.

May 3:  Year Around Garden Club Spring in the Garden Garden Tour
10:00 am - 4:00 pm; Admission price: $10.  6 beautiful gardens presented by members of our club.
