September 30: Garden and Floral Arrangers Guild Table Setting Flower Show

October 7:  Diablo View Orchid Society Orchid Extravaganza Show & Sale!

October 14:  Red Bluff Garden Club "Tropical Get Away" Luncheon & Design Program
9:30 am - 3:00 pm; Admission price: $30.00. Rolling Hills Casino,  2655 Everett Freeman Way,  Corning
This is our clubs annual design program and luncheon.  This year's theme is a "Tropical Get Away", and we encourage everyone attending to dress in their island attire!  Our guest speakers will be David Mirabella and Blake Ellis, both from the Little Red Hen Nursery in Chico.  In addition we will have several vendors, a silent auction and drawings for very nice items.  Attendees may choose from three  entrees, (one is vegetarian).  Purchase your tickets by October 4.   Join us for this special day!

October 27:  West Valley Garden Club “Hooray For Hollywood” Annual Tea and Entertainment Fundraiser

October 28-29: Chico Horticultural Society "Farm to Table" Flower Show
10:00 am - 5:00 pm (both days).  Free w/ paid admission to the Home and Garden Show.  Silver Dollar Fairgrounds, 2357 Fair Street, Chico.  This is the club's 46th Flower Show, plant sale, and raffle to support the club's school garden grants. The show is open to the public; there is no fee to enter an exhibit.  Entries will be accepted Thursday, Oct. 26, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Friday, Oct. 27, from 8:00 am - 10:00 am.

New Designs from National Garden Clubs.  Education, Inspiration and Enjoyment – just in time for the Spring Flower Show Season.  Over 20 designs, arranged like a FS, to view and learn about as NGC Judges explain the ins and outs of each one. February 5:  Palomar District Floral Design Forum
