April 21-22:  Chico Horticultural Society Home & Garden Show
Saturday: 10:00 am-5:00 pm; Sunday: 10:00 am-5:00 pm

Silver Dollar Fairgrounds, 2357 Fair Street, Chico, 95928. The Spring Home and Garden Show is a perfect setting for Chico Horticultural Society to hold a Plant Sale and Horticulture Exhibit.  On display will be cut specimens, flowers, arboreal branches, vines, container grown indoor and outdoor plants, dish-type gardens, bulbs, tubers and rhizomes, and bog plants.  Also featured will be photographs, decorated niches, bird houses, and yard art. The clubs of the Buttes District of CGCI will also have a presence. Floral arrangements will be featured by members of the Bidwell Designers.  Friendly Garden Club will present Bee information . Paradise Garden Club will be selling tickets for their Annual Garden Tour in June. Chico Horticultural Society has invited many others plant groups to join with them in the Flower Building, to share their club’s information, focus and passion.  Native Plants, Orchids, Begonias, and Iris are just a few.  Butte Co. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions. Any flowers left over at the end of the show will be gathered and arranged into beautiful bouquets that will be delivered to shut-ins, retirement homes, and convalescent hospitals. This is an incredible event that will showcase, educate and delight those interested in gardening.

April 28-29:  Folsom Garden Club "Gardens of Folsom" Annual Garden Tour
Saturday & Sunday:  11am-4pm;  Admission price: $20 (age 16 and over)
Need some garden inspiration? Follow the road to the “Gardens of Folsom” 2018 garden tour!
Tickets include a descriptive brochure and a map of the tour route.  The self-guided tour highlights creative ideas for your spring gardens, Master Gardeners to answer your questions and the ever
popular bake and plant sales. The Folsom Garden Club is a nonprofit organization, raising funds through this annual Garden Tour to support scholarships and grants educating area students and promoting beautification of the City of Folsom.  Over $87,000 have been raised and distributed since

May 5:  The Friendly Garden Club of Orland Annual Plant and Bake Sale
8:00 am-2:00 am.  Glenn County Fairgrounds, intersection of Yolo and Woodward
Streets. This Annual event raises money needed to award three, $1000.00 scholarships to local graduating High School students.  We feature member grown plants and delicious baked goods.  A limited number of our club's cookbooks are still available for sale.  Come early for the best selection!

May 5-6:  Vista Garden Club “Tribute To Mother Nature” Standard Flower Show

May 8:  Roseville Better Gardens Club ANNUAL PLANT SALE

Locally member-grown plants including native plants at great prices and fresh flower arrangements, lots of garden items, garden art & books.  This year we have driftwood art with succulents.  We typically have lots of succulent plants too!!! Event is open to the public.

May 20:  Southern Humboldt Garden Club 67th Annual Flower Show

We will have local vendors, many flowers to view, a junior room full of flowers, a Tea Room for all to enjoy and many items donated by local merchants and you will be able to purchase tickets and hopefully be a lucky winner  at our opportunity drawing.  Come and enjoy a day of beauty, fun and of course the redwood trees along your travels.  Hope to see many members of our local Garden Clubs there.
