February 20: Southern California Garden Club Leadership Workshop

Interactive workshop as presented throughout California and to garden clubs in 15 states by Robin Pokorski, NGC and CGCI Leadership Chairman.  Includes basic parliamentary procedure, motivating members to participate and accept leadership positions, increasing membership, taking minutes, budgets, financial reports and much more. Especially intended for organization leaders and those considering leadership positions.  Registration fee includes handouts, snacks and lunch.

March 9-10:  Northern California Camellia Society Camellia show and Sale
Saturday: 1:00 -5:00pm; Sunday: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Saint Andrew's Celebration Center, 1601 Mary Drive, Pleasant Hill, CA.  Camellia show of 900 camellias in a beautiful setting. Camellia and azalea plants will be for sale at the event.

May 4-5: Vista Garden Club 2019 Flower Show “A Garden Cornucopia”

The Flower Show attracts over 400 entries in flowers, fruits, vegetables, and floral design. The Vista Garden Club would like to encourage anyone to enter the show. Gardeners who are excited to enter should know that they should have plants in their possession by February 3, 2019. You may enter as many specimens as you like at no charge.
