February 5:  Palomar District Floral Design Forum
“FLOWER POWER” our most popular program.  Watch as local college student designers race against the clock to complete a Surprise Package design from material, container and theme.  Then, like a 3 ring circus, they show a “signature Design,” a “round robin,” and then a “wrap up” design. 12:30p.m. - Shinoda Design Center, 7170 Miramar Rd., San Diego, 92121.  $12 per session NGC/CGCI members, $15 per session non-members

April 7:  Fallbrook Garden Club Horticulture Specialty Flower Show:  "The Magic of Color"

April 14-15:  Riverside Community Flower Show and Garden Tour

Join us for a “Woodland Enchantment“ at the 71st Riverside Flower Show and Garden Tour.  Emerald green forests, meadow wildflowers, and fairy gardens are some of the inspirations for this year’s show at the Elk’s Lodge, where you will see hundreds of prize winning plants, flowers, floral arrangements, garden art, and home grown produce (starting at 1:00 - 6:00 Saturday). Enjoy shopping at our free Garden Fair while you're there. Meet with Master Gardeners and attend our free seminars to answer all your garden related questions. Included with your ticket is also a map to a self-guided tour of 5 “enchanting” local gardens for further enjoyment and inspiration.
