CGCI and its members are members of National Garden Clubs, Inc. (NGC).  NGC members create a powerful voice and expansive network for advancing common interests. We are one of the most recognized non-profits in the United States and the largest volunteer gardening organization in the world. At National Garden Clubs, we do more than just green your thumb. We connect you with people, plants and programs that provide inspiration, information and valuable resources.

NGC

  • provides education, resources and national networking opportunities for its members to promote the love of gardening, floral design, civic, and environmental responsibility.
  • is the largest volunteer gardening organization in the world with over 6000 Clubs and 190,000+ members in 50 states and the District of Columbia and more than 400 affiliates worldwide.
  • was founded in 1929
  • is headquartered on grounds adjacent to Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, Missouri
  • publishes The National Gardener (available by subscription), a yearly engagement calendar, and many publications as a service to its members
  • sponsors National Garden Week (week beginning the first Sunday in June)
  • provides information and opportunities through its website - www.gardenclub.org
  • is divided into eight geographical regions including Pacific Region

  • Service in Action... will focus attention on pollinators and amphibians, two bio-indicators, who as individuals and populations, are used to monitor environmental conditions, and the leadership development of our members.
